This is me. Completely Not Photoshopped :P . Beginning of My Journey.

Finding that although I am an uber-responsible person when it comes to my friends, family, and practical obligations, I fail when trying to be accountable to myself. I am aware that my struggles with personal self worth and image are completely first world problems, but they plague me and influence my life nonetheless. So here is the point of this blog. I intend to save my nickels and pennies to go to Emerald City Comic Con in March of 2015(roughly ten months from now). Although change and growth are constants in life, there are certain changes I want to have a deadline or at least a progress marker. So I am using Comic Con as that marker. Not only because it's a fun and exciting place to show off those changes, but because it is a gathering full of people who are comfortable with themselves and what they love, and I want to be a part of that. I won't list out all the things I am working on here in the first post. It is not to be a record of all that is wrong with me, but more a record of my progress in making things right.
